-- at the intersection of Foothill Oaks Drive and Mountain Side Drive ( a reasonably maintained dirt road off Upper Lake-Lucerne Road). There is limited camping space.
About 5 pm -- Maybe basket weaving demonstrations, Community supper and/or potluck. Usually feather dancing at about 7 pm.
Saturday: Either 5 am -- Walk from the Dance Ground OR 5:30 am -- meet at the old "Bloody Island" memorial. Corner of Reclamation Road and Redbud Lane. (Best to enter Reclamation from the north, near the new historic marker.)
Followed by a community breakfast at the dance ground.

Email the BGN (US Board on Geographic Names)
Update Jan 10, 2025
The Lake County Board of Supervisors voted in December to support the renaming.. At this moment we recommend that you do NOT email the BGN or BoS. Please join our c4h@groups.io mailing list for details.
Anyone who wishes to send a comment to the BGN - in support or in opposition - may email the BGN The subject line MUST include the word KONOCTI. The BGN will forward all submissions to the CACGN. It will be helpful to us if you send us a copy.
We recommend the format:
